White Water Rafting on the American River - South Fork

If you think you have clicked into someone else's blog, you are wrong. The Lo's DID camp and go white water rafting in the same month.

We went white water rafting on the American River with Jenny's optometry friends. Thanks Julie for organizing the trip! Most of us had never gone rafting before and we had a great time! We camped near the river the night before the rafting. Considering that we camped the weekend before, we decided to be ghetto and sleep in Billy's Prius. It was the best sleep we've had on campgrounds in two weeks.

Lakes Basin/Sierra City Camping

We spent a fun filled weekend camping at Lakes Basin/Sierra City. For the first time, Sally got in the water and she hated it! With her stubby legs, you'd think that it would take her forever to get to shore, but she was like a torpedo!. Check out her swimming video below.

I love the outdoors! Basking in the sun is my favorite thing to do.

I wanted that hammock. Oh well, I'll settle with this chair instead.
